Who am I? Why am I writing a blog? Who knows...
I suppose I'll tell people that it was only natural, seeing as how my laptop and I are attatched at the hip anyways. I'm a computer science student and all of my hobbies involve the computer in some way or another.
But also, it'll be neat to chronicle stuff going on in my life. However, there aren't many ways I've figured out how to do this.
I tried to keep a diary when I was younger and absolutely failed. I don't mean forget-to-write-some-entires-then-never-pick-it-up-again failure. I mean losing-the-key-to-the-diary-inside-a-radio-and-tear-the-cover-off-the-book-itself failure. The pages got everywhere. (And yes, I won't lie... I did lose interest in it as well after a while). I mean, really. I don't care how pink, fluffy and sparkly that cover was. My seven-year-old self could not be that easily taken in.
Another alternative is scrapbooking. I really love scrapbooking. Problem? It costs money. And time. And commitment. For me, that's a recipe for disaster. I can never commit to any one hobby for long. (And frankly, as a university student I don't have the cash).
So, blog it is.
Maybe it'll work... maybe it won't. Either way this is my little space of me, so I'll welcome anyone to it who want to share in it. I'm a nerd, sharing my weirdo average life with other nerds. Because, after all, we all like to think we're different, and we are. :)
